For You, My Heroes

It was a blaze in a midst of mass anger

They fought for what they believed was theirs

Craving for peace was the one driving them insane

They, our Indonesian heroes

Shedding tears and blood

Their determination outstubborned the enemies

Thanks to the madness, they stood firm against

Had in faith that it was human with independence

- not enslavement

Everything they’ve done is for their Indonesia – OURS

They might not think they’ve sacrificed anything

Their spirits for Indonesia was all they had

Don’t you envy that power of theirs?

Their life for Indonesia

We should do as well

Thank and respect them!

For they had inherited Indonesia to us

- no bloodshed, only freedom

Thank you, our heroes!

Shall God bless you all!
